Bachelor of Science (Natural Resource Conservation) – The University of British Columbia Vancouver Campus

My degree from The University of British Columbia (UBC) in my terms means the world to me. It’s something that was really hard to do, I completed it, and I was awarded a Bachelor of Science for my hard work. To me this degree means perseverance and something tangible that I can use in my teaching career as a background in the sciences as well as mathematics, sociology, computer systems, and much more. During my education, I have strived to capture as much knowledge that I can by taking courses that interest me including botany, anatomy, chemistry, physics, calculus, algebra, English literature, philosophy, soils, dendrology, astronomy, earth science, English composition, forestry management, computer science, and statistics. I endeavor to continue learning and educating myself throughout my life. I will never stop. An education is something that cannot be taken away from you and an educated person is one that can critically think about the world around them.
