Ryan’s Law is a law that was passed in Ontario when the elementary school that he attended, would not allow him to carry his inhaler with him at all times. Subsequently, Ryan passed away from an asthma attack. Ryan’s Law now states that a school can not prevent any student from having their inhaler with them at all times. This certificate from phea: Healthy Schools Healthy Communities, gave me insight into the many different inhalers available and how to use them. I have an understanding of what to do in the event of a student having an asthmas attack and I know how to help them.
