This was an interesting little art piece that just came back to me from Christie last week during class. I had completely forgotten that we did these on the first day of class in September. I was reading through it and I realized that I wouldn’t change any of it. I found that really interesting and weird honestly. After all of the classes and the practicum that we had gone through so far, I found it initially odd that I wouldn’t have changed my views on anything that I had written but then it hit me: I didn’t need anything to change because I have the same beliefs and knowledge in myself. I know that I am a safe, empathic, and friendly person. Given the time, I know that I can build relationships with my students and be that person in their lives in which they feel safe, loved, and appreciated as part of my classroom. I have faith that I will do the best that I can for all of my students.
